The Man Matters Project

Man Matters
Summary:  Calling all men, The Man Matters project, a Men’s Health and Learning Partnership of five organisations including Home-Start, Parents Advice Centre, Ballynafeigh Community Development Association, the Men’s Health Forum in Ireland and lead by the Workers’ Educational Association is offering a range of courses to men across Northern Ireland.
 
Over a five year period, Man Matters aims to work with men who currently, or in the past, have faced barriers to taking part in education or community work.  This project will provide a range of educational and developmental courses and enable men to participate in learning opportunities towards greater understanding of their personal health and wellbeing and towards greater self confidence in dealing with parenting issues and family life.  In addition, the project also offers courses on community development, community group management and social history aiming to assist men wanting to work or volunteer in their local community.

Come along and meet “The Man Matters Team” have a chat , a cup of tea and find out more about the courses on offer at the drop in day.
