What next?
If you have read any of the new Quick Reads or are interested in getting back into reading, have a look at our suggestions for what to do next.

Quick Reads and World Book Day 2010

  • Read as many Quick Reads as you can - check out your local bookshop, supermarket and library.  They are also available online from online retailers and can be downloaded as e-books. If they inspired you to read more, why not visit your local library or bookshop to see what else is on offer.
  • If you have been inspired to write your own stories, contact an EGSA adviser for information on creative writing classes in your area or try out our online course search - type "creative writing" into the subject box. Remember: our advisers can also give advice and information on a wide range of subject, qualification and career areas.
  • Read about how brushing up on English and maths skills helped other learners.
  • Help your children or grandchildren with their reading.
  • If you are an Essential Skills tutor, employer or learning provider, visit the Quick Reads website for useful resources.
