Entry Requirements The ApprenticeshipsNI programme is available to both existing and newly recruited employees who wish to gain nationally recognised qualifications in their chosen occupational area.
NOTE: If you do not yet have a job and are aged 16 - 18 (up to 24 years for those requiring additional support), you may be able to enrol on a 'Training for Success' programme which can help you gain the skills and confidence to enable you to find employment. Contact the course provider or your local Careers Adviser for further details.
Course Content ApprenticeshipsNI offers quality work based training and the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications giving you the skills you need for your chosen career. It provides an opportunity to achieve a relevant, job related National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) while at work.
This NVQ is appropriate for you if your job involves a variety of tasks under supervision. Options include secretarial, IT, communication and financial skills.

Cost There is no cost to the individual. While on the programme, apprentices will continue to be paid a wage by their employer.
